What is Flowmeter Verification?

It's checking your existing meter is working correctly.

Its also called "validation".

What is checked during a verification?

​

Typically we check the flow independently using a portable flowmeter.

We can also check the output signals from your meter to make sure they are valid, e.g. is the output signal scaled correctly?

What types of meters can be verified?

• Liquid flowmeters

• Open channel/Drain meters

• Water supply meters

• Air flow meters
